Recall - Children's Ladybug Halloween Costume
|August 24th, 2012|
|Children's Ladybug Halloween Costume|
|Full Product Description|
|This voluntary recall involves a girl's Ladybug Halloween costume sold under the Danson Decor brand across Canada. The costume comes in a long sleeved black and red dress with black feather (marabou) trim and also with a set of sheer white wings and a black headband (with antennas).
The black and red ladybug costume can be identified by the UPC 062615615710 and the item number H1571.
|Health Canada’s sampling and testing program revealed that the feather (marabou) trim on the skirt of the costume does not meet the requirements for textile flammability under Canadian law.
The feather (marabou) trim on this costume could easily catch fire and cause burns to consumers if exposed to a flame or other ignition source such as a match, lighter, candle, stove element or spark from a fireplace.
Neither Health Canada nor Danson Decor Inc. has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this Halloween costume.
|Consumers are advised not to let their children wear the recalled Halloween costume and dispose of the costume immediately.
For more information, consumers may contact our Customer Service department directly at 1-800-363-1865 or 514-335-2435 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
