Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: How can I buy Danson products?

A1: If you are a qualified retailer, wholesaler or manufacturer, there are a variety of ways you can start doing business with us.  You can visit one of our showrooms and work with an Inside Sales representative to open your account (please refer to our "Contact Us" page for coordinates).  You may also request to have one of our Sales Representatives contact you (send us an email using this link to set this up).  Finally, you can open an online Open an eDanson account! account and place an order online.

Q2: Can I buy from you if I am not a retailer?
A2: In order to protect our customers, we do not sell to individuals or companies that are not retailers, wholesalers or manufacturers.

Q3: Do you attend any Trade Shows?
A3: Yes, we attend many different Trade Shows throughout the year.  If you wish to know more, please send us an email.

Q4: Do you have order minimums?
A4: Yes we do however these vary depending on a variety of criteria.  For more information, if you are a qualified customer, please you can open an online Open an eDanson account! account or send us an email.

Q5: Can I get open account terms?
A5: Please discuss this with your sales representative or contact our Credit Department to assist you in this matter. 

Q6: Do you offer “dating” terms?
A6: Please discuss this with your sales representative or contact our Credit Department to assist you in this matter (see coordinates below).

Q7: How can I pay for my order or outstanding balance?
A7: By cash, cheque, credit card (VISA only), money order, bank draft or bank transfer.

Q8: Do you only sell to Canadian retailers?
A8: No.  We sell our products worldwide provided the customer meets our various requirements for international shipments. 

Q9: Can I purchase from you in another currency if I am not in Canada?
A9: Yes, in American Dollars (USD).

Q10: Can you ship to a PO Box?
A10: While correspondence and invoices can be mailed to PO boxes, product cannot be shipped to them.  An actual street address is required for product deliveries.

Q11: Do I need a GST and/or Provincial Sales Tax and/or Harmonized Sales Tax number to buy from you?
A11: Yes, it is required, if you are a Canadian retailer, to validate tax remittances.

Q12: Do I absolutely have to have a sales representative meet me to buy from you?
A12: No, this is not a necessity but is it recommended as one of our trained sales representatives would be in a better position to provide you with personalized service.
